The Contract Compensation Analyst, on behalf of our client, will play a key role in supporting the organization's compensation programs, ensuring competitiveness, equity, and alignment with strategic goals. This role focuses on analyzing, designing, and administering compensation structures to attract and retain top talent while maintaining compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze current compensation structures to ensure market competitiveness and internal equity.
- Support the development and implementation of compensation programs, including salary structures, bonuses, and incentive plans.
- Conduct job evaluations and salary benchmarking using market data to recommend adjustments or updates.
- Administer the annual compensation review process, including merit increases and promotions.
- Collaborate with HR and leadership to ensure compensation practices align with organizational goals and budgetary constraints.
- Provide guidance to managers and HR partners on compensation policies, procedures, and practices.
- Prepare reports and dashboards on compensation metrics for leadership review.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including FLSA and pay equity laws.
- Support special projects related to compensation strategy and planning.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in compensation analysis or a related field, preferably within the banking or financial services industry.
- Proven experience with job evaluation and market benchmarking.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and HRIS systems.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex compensation concepts.
- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or similar certification preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of compensation practices, market trends, and regulatory requirements.
- Familiarity with tools and platforms for market data analysis.
- Collaboration: Ability to work cross-functionally with HR, finance, and leadership teams.
- Confidentiality: Maintains discretion when handling sensitive information.
- Strategic Thinking: Understands the broader implications of compensation decisions.
- Adaptability: Thrives in a dynamic environment with competing priorities.
- Travel Requirements: Minimal travel required.
