Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a CAD Designer & Drafter - Power Systems Controls. The expected annual salary range for this role is $80,250.03 - $117,700.04 a year. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. What you’ll do:

As a CAD Design/Drafter I, you will be responsible for creating technical drawings and models using computer-aided design (CAD) software. You will work closely with engineers and architects to translate conceptual designs into detailed plans and schematics. Functions: Create 2D and 3D drawings and models based on specifications provided by engineers or architects. Review and interpret rough sketches, drawings, and specifications to understand project requirements. Use CAD software to generate accurate and detailed drawings of parts, assemblies, and structures. Incorporate design changes and revisions as directed by project stakeholders. Ensure drawings comply with industry standards and regulations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve design issues and optimize designs for manufacturability. Maintain organized file management and documentation of drawings and project files. Qualifications:

Required Qualifications: Minimum of 10+ years of experience in CAD design and drafting. No relocation is being offered for this position. Candidate must reside within a 50-mile radius of location listed in job description in order to be considered. Active-duty members of the military are exempt from this requirement. Candidate must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future. Preferred Skills: Experience with 3D modeling and rendering software. Knowledge of building codes and regulations (for architectural drafters). Familiarity with mechanical design principles (for mechanical drafters). Certification in CAD software or drafting (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional). Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit). Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drawing creation. Ability to interpret technical drawings, sketches, and specifications. Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with team members. Familiarity with drafting standards and best practices. Skills:
