As the Director of Information Technology, you will lead our IT department, overseeing all technical operations, systems, and staff. Salary:
$80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Hire, train, and manage IT staff while conducting timely and constructive performance evaluations. Manage the organization's technology infrastructure, ensuring effective hardware, software, and network operations. Develop strategic collaborations with external IT partners for enhanced infrastructure including security and communication systems. Direct day-to-day IT department operations, troubleshooting, and resolving complex technical issues. Oversee implementation of new systems and technologies, managing project milestones and deliverables. Develop, evaluate, and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure data integrity and system availability. Enforce IT security protocols, overseeing the protection of IT systems and sensitive enterprise information. Liaise with senior management to align technological solutions with business needs, enhancing operational efficiency. Monitor system performance, ensuring reliable and uninterrupted IT services. Conduct ongoing assessments for system improvements, upgrades, and vulnerabilities. Develop and manage IT policies and procedures to support company-wide operations and security guidelines. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and advancements, aiming to integrate modern technologies that support organizational growth. Handle IT inventory, asset management, and provide technical support as needed across the organization. Minimum Position Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. Proven experience as an IT Director or a similar managerial role. Extensive knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, and networking principles. Familiarity with Microsoft Active Directory and its deployment in enterprise environments. Exceptional customer service orientation with a clear ability to explain complex IT concepts to non-technical users. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a proficiency in managing cross-departmental collaborations. Capability to work under pressure, managing multiple priorities and adhering to deadlines. Physical capacity to lift up to 40 lbs as required for equipment handling. Preferred Qualifications: Advanced degree in IT or Business Management. Certifications such as PMP, ITIL, or others related to IT management and infrastructure. Experience in developing and implementing IT policies designed to meet ISO or other quality standards. Hands-on experience with emerging technologies like cloud computing, AI, or cybersecurity enhancements. Prior involvement in large-scale IT system migration or integration projects.
