Job Summary
As the Director of Information Technology, you will be responsible for overseeing the organization's overall IT strategy, infrastructure, and operations. You will lead a team of IT professionals to ensure the effective delivery of technology solutions that align with business objectives. Enjoy a flexible work arrangement of 24-30 hours on site for this position.
Responsibilities
Oversee IT functions of network and security administration, technical support and training, data management/file organization, hardware assessment, system documentation, IT policies and procedures and strategic planning to advance technologies. Lead change management and process improvement of new policies and processes to facilitate growth. Design and arrange for IT related training programs for staff and clients ensuring effective use of systems and processes, provide for clear communications regarding IT changes and updates. Access and determine IT hardware and software needs in coordination with senior management. Supervise one part-time IT Technician. Oversee the organization's security system including audio/video equipment and cameras, provide support for TVs and projectors and company owned mobile devices. Assist users in organization and classification of documents, file management and proper use of sharing. Provide oversight for vendor supported software applications, company website and social media accounts including evaluation of new software and initiatives. Enhance internal communication tools and collaboration and provide technical, strategic advice. Provide leadership in strengthening internal communications with staff and clients throughout the organization, create and promote a positive and supportive work environment. Experience
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems,
or
related field of study; Associate's degree with five (5) years relevant work experience considered. Minimum of three (3) years of work experience in IT network administration, security systems, help desk/user support, and overall IT management. Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 products and IT compliance regulatory requirements. IT certifications such as CompTIA+, Microsoft, etc. is a plus. Commitment to recruiting, mentoring and training staff. Position must have a current and valid NYS Driver's License. Familiarity with senior leadership collaboration. Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders. Skills and Abilities

Proven organizational skills and attention to detail and ability to manage and supervise administrative projects. Excellent time management project management and ability to meet deadlines.
