The Department of Family and Community Medicine at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Medicine is seeking forward-thinking, team-oriented family physicians who are willing to engage in the continued advancement of our practice as a high-quality primary care model using principles of continuous quality improvement. The Assistant/Associate Professor of Clinical Family and Community Medicine position is for full- or part-time, non-tenure track clinical physician faculty. Duties & Responsibilities
The University of Illinois at Chicago College of Medicine invites applicants for the position of Assistant/Associate Professor of Clinical Family and Community Medicine in the Department of Family and Community Medicine. Opportunities encompass a full range of outpatient, inpatient, and pregnancy care services, though all may not be required. Teaching medical students will be an essential part of the outpatient practice. We seek energetic, forward-thinking, team-oriented family physicians who are willing to engage in the transformation of our practice into a high-quality primary care model using principles of continuous quality improvement. This position will start initially as primarily clinical, with an expectation of approximately 80% of effort devoted to direct patient care at the University Village Family and Community Medicine Center, UI Health Pilsen Family Health Center Lower West, and/or the University of Illinois Hospital. Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned. Minimum Qualifications
MD/DO Eligible to be licensed in the State of Illinois, board-certified in Family Medicine Desire to practice in an academic medical center Preferred Qualifications
