Job Description
Title - Software Development Engineer in Test Location: Chicago, IL Duration: 12 Month Job Description: Required Experience level: 10+ Years The ideal candidate should have experience in working on a number of cross platform, cloud-based applications using C#, Angular, SQL and others. The candidate must have thorough knowledge of building automation framework, API, Load & Performance testing. Responsibilities
The SDET develops automation to enable testing of .NET n-tiered systems and applications. Automate test cases, develop automation libraries, and improve the existing framework. Build frameworks to test multiple layers of the application including web, services & database. Create comprehensive test data. Strong understanding of OOP principles and treat automation code as production code. Conduct root cause analysis of the defects found. Work closely with engineers, product, and delivery teams. Take initiative and be outspoken. Understand business use cases deeply and test for the same. Development experience in C#/.NET Framework for 4+ years. Hands-on experience with Selenium, Microsoft ALM solution (MTM, Visual Studio, CodedUI, C#, TFS). Knowledge of SQL and ability to write complex queries. Experience working with large scale RDBMS. Good understanding of containerization and container networking. Experience working on Kubernetes. Experience working on CI/CD pipelines. Deep understanding of N-tiered systems. Develop scripts and programs (PowerShell, C#) to increase support efficiency. Proficiency with web technologies and data structures – HTML, CSS, XML, DOM. Strong knowledge of automation design patterns. Qualifications
Knowledge of SQL and ability to write complex queries. Experience working with large scale RDBMS. Good understanding of containerization and container networking. Experience working on Kubernetes. Experience working on CI/CD pipelines. Deep understanding of N-tiered systems. Develop scripts and programs (PowerShell, C#) to increase support efficiency.
