Duties
Provide strategic legal counsel on corporate and transactional matters, ensuring tailored solutions for clients.
Handle complex legal work including research, drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and closing deals.
Lead client relationships, offering clear, engaging legal advice on corporate issues.
Manage and develop business for the firm by growing current client relationships and attending business development events.
Collaborate with colleagues across various disciplines to provide comprehensive legal support.
Delegate work to paralegals, associates, and support staff as necessary.
Assist managing partners with special projects and other legal duties as required.
Requirements
Minimum of 6 years of experience in corporate and transactional law.
Licensed to practice law in North Carolina or willing to obtain admission.
Bachelor’s degree and Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.
Strong understanding of corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and business contracts.
Education
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications
Active bar membership in North Carolina or eligibility to obtain admission.
Skills
Excellent legal research, writing, and verbal communication abilities.
Strong academic background with attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently while handling multiple tasks efficiently.
Creative problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to client service.
