Senior Corporate Attorney – Raleigh, NC
Our corporate law team is actively seeking an experienced attorney with over 6 years of corporate and transactional experience to join our esteemed firm. If you have strong academic credentials, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional legal work, this is an excellent opportunity for you. Experience in commercial real estate is helpful but not required. This position offers the chance to work in a collaborative environment with a focus on client relationships and business development.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience : 6 years of experience in corporate law and transactional matters. License : Active North Carolina Bar license. Skills : Strong academic credentials and outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Commercial Real Estate : Commercial real estate experience is a plus, but not required. Independence : Ability to work independently, make executive decisions, and handle multiple tasks effectively. Problem-Solving : Creative, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize efficiently. Team Player : Collaborative mindset and dedication to working with colleagues and clients. Big Firm Experience : Big firm experience is a plus.
Essential Functions:
Provide solutions to clients’ legal issues by delivering high-quality, detailed legal work. Conduct legal research, draft, review, negotiate, close, and advise clients on complex corporate matters. Communicate legal concepts clearly and effectively to clients in an engaging manner. Take the lead in managing client relationships and legal matters. Drive business development efforts by growing existing client relationships, attending industry events, and implementing strategic business development initiatives. Work on special projects and other job-related duties as assigned by managing partners to optimize the firm’s operations. Delegate tasks to paralegals, associates, and support staff as needed.
Billable Hour Requirements: Billable Hour Requirements:
Associates are expected to meet a minimum of 130 billable hours per month (1560 annually), plus 25 non-billable hours. Exceeding the minimum will result in increased compensation.
