Our client, a highly respected law firm with a specialized creditors’ rights practice, is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented
Bankruptcy/Creditor Rights Paralegal
to join their
Pennsylvania
team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated paralegal to further their career in a dynamic and collaborative legal environment. Key Responsibilities:
Assist attorneys in all aspects of creditors' rights cases, including managing case files, maintaining calendars, and tracking deadlines. Draft and organize a variety of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, summary judgments, discovery requests, and responses. Conduct thorough legal research on relevant laws, regulations, and case precedents. Prepare trial materials, such as trial binders, witness lists, and exhibit lists. Communicate effectively with courts and clients as needed. Handle tasks related to the creditors' rights practice, including working with firm software, coordinating with the firm's accounting department, and collaborating with team members.
Qualifications:
Paralegal degree or paralegal certificate
preferred . Minimum of 3 years of experience in a law firm
(focus on debt collection, foreclosure, and/or tax collection strongly preferred). Residency in
or
willingness to relocate to
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Exceptional communication skills and a client-service approach. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Detail-oriented with the ability to manage a high volume of cases and meet strict deadlines. Proficiency in legal research and case management software; familiarity with ProLaw and Collection Master is a plus.
