Description The Superintendent - Life Science Projects Up To $40M - Boston is responsible for: Lead and manage the day-to-day operations on construction sites, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. Oversee project execution in Healthcare, Life Science, and Higher Education sectors, including renovations and occupied facilities. Ensure adherence to all quality control and safety standards, while fostering a collaborative and positive work environment. Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and vendors to coordinate logistics and address issues promptly. Monitor and enforce site safety and compliance with relevant regulations. Effectively manage field personnel, subcontractors, and materials.
Profile The Superintendent - Life Science Projects Up To $40M - Boston will have: 5-10 years of experience as a Superintendent, leading work on your own with demonstrated success. Experience in one or more of our core markets: Healthcare, Life Science, or Higher Education. Experience with occupied renovation projects is a must. Previous experience with projects ranging from $5M to $35M. Must have a valid CSL (Construction Supervisor License). Ability to commute to the Boston area regularly, with projects located 80% in downtown Boston and 20% in the surrounding suburbs. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple priorities. A mid-level candidate (not towards the end of their career) is preferred.
