Job Description
We are seeking an HR Coordinator for our client located in New Orleans, Louisiana. As an HR Coordinator, your role will be crucial in managing HR administrative tasks, maintaining employee records, and ensuring smooth HR operations. This employment opportunity will allow you to leverage your skills in Human Resources administration, HRIS systems, and employee relations. This is a short-term contract to full time opportunity.
Responsibilities
• Handling basic HR-related inquiries and directing more complex issues to senior HR personnel
• Coordinating employee records in compliance with our organizational policies
• Inputting employee data into the HRIS system, ensuring timely updates and accurate reporting for effective decision-making
• Managing HR files for scanning and filing, maintaining organization and confidentiality at all times
• Supporting the HR department by coordinating meetings, gathering documentation, and performing other administrative tasks
• Aiding with employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including communication and verification of dates
• Assisting the HR team with ad-hoc tasks and projects as and when required
• Proven experience in performing Background Checks
• Proficiency in handling Benefit Functions
• Excellent Communication skills
• Experience in managing Employee Relations
• Strong understanding of Human Resources (HR) Administration
• Knowledge and experience in using HRIS - Human Resources Info Systems
• Proficiency in using UKG Ready
• Experience in Scanning and Filing documents
• General understanding of Human Resources principles and practices
