We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Human Resources (HR) Assistant in Fort Lupton, Colorado. As an HR Assistant, you will be part of a team that ensures the smooth operation of our HR department in a diverse range of tasks, from maintaining HR records to customer service.

Responsibilities
• Carry out auditing tasks to ensure compliance with HR policies and regulations.
• Oversee and manage employee relations, serving as a point of contact for HR-related inquiries.
• Handle background checks for potential employees as part of the recruitment process.
• Assist in various benefit functions, providing information to employees about company benefits.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, answering queries and resolving issues promptly.
• Facilitate new employee orientation to foster a positive attitude towards company goals.
• Utilize HRMS and UKG Pro for data entry and maintaining accurate HR records.
• Manage workers' compensation claims, ensuring proper documentation and compliance.
• Responsible for document scanning and ordering office supplies as needed.
• Handle daily mail and answering multi-line phone system, ensuring effective communication within the organization.• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Human Resources role
• Proficiency in HR Management Systems (HRMS)
• Experience in auditing HR-related documents and procedures
• Familiarity with conducting background checks
• Understanding of benefit functions and administration
• Excellent customer service skills
• Proficiency in using UKG Pro software
• Ability to assure compliance with HR policies and regulations
• Experience in handling employee relations issues
• Experience in conducting new employee orientation
• Skilled in document scanning and maintaining electronic files
• Experience in ordering and managing office supplies
• Understanding of worker's compensation policies and processes
• Experience in handling worker's compensation claims
• Proficiency in answering multi-line phone systems

• Proficient in data entry, with a keen attention to detail.
