CNC Machinist-2nd Shift

Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a CNC Machinist-2nd Shift to join their team. As a CNC Machinist, you will be part of the production department supporting the manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: CNC Machinist-2nd Shift

Location: Clackamas, OR

Pay Range: $22 to $28 per hour DOE

What's the Job?

• Set up and perform machining operations on various metals, castings, forgings, and fabrications.
• Operate one or more major machines and one or more minor machines.
• Study blueprints, sketches, and specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpieces.
• Use measuring tools to control machining operations and verify conformance of finished workpieces to specifications.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area while following all safety precautions.

What's Needed?

• 5+ Years in CNC machining and setup.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Proficiency in using measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers.
• Basic maintenance skills for machinery.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and resolve machining problems.
