Director Enterprise Architecture-Governance

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Enterprise Architecture Director t o define and drive architecture strategy. This role will play a critical part in advancing the firm’s architectural capabilities, governance, and technology simplification initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the architecture strategy to optimize and de-risk the technology landscape, aligning with business capabilities and supporting corporate objectives. Architecture Governance: Establish and maintain governance frameworks to enforce architecture principles, policies, standards, and best practices across the firm. Review and Oversight: Lead the architecture review process, integrating with existing PMO and Agile workflows, assessing architectural significance, and managing governance operations. Compliance Management: Ensure project-level compliance with architectural principles, standards, and reference architectures through effective governance mechanisms. Asset Optimization: Drive IT asset optimization and application rationalization to align technical solutions with business needs, simplify the technical landscape, and reduce duplication. Risk Management: Define and execute methodologies for technical risk and debt assessments, developing roadmaps to reduce risk and enhance delivery speed. Repository Oversight: Manage the Enterprise Architecture (EA) Repository, including the metamodel of principles, patterns, reference architectures, and capability models, to support continuous analysis and rationalization efforts. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. 10 years of relevant work experience in enterprise architecture or related roles. TOGAF 9 Foundation Certification or equivalent. Experience in enterprise architecture within financial services or global investment management preferred
