Duties: Represent clients in various civil litigation matters, managing cases from inception through resolution. Conduct thorough legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents. Provide effective counsel to clients by offering strategic advice based on legal research and case facts. Participate in discovery, including depositions, interrogatories, and document review. Appear in court, representing clients in hearings, motions, trials, and other legal proceedings. Work closely with internal legal teams and clients to prepare for litigation and settlement discussions. Requirements: Proven experience in civil litigation, with a track record of managing cases through different stages of litigation. Strong research and analytical abilities, with the capability to handle complex legal issues. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for drafting legal documents and presenting cases. Licensed to practice law in Utah. Education: Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school. Certifications: Active bar membership in the State of Utah. Skills: Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills. Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously. Effective communication skills for collaborating with clients, colleagues, and court officials. Strong negotiation skills for settlement discussions and litigation proceedings.
