Quartz Core Business Platform Developer Job Responsibilities: Develop and deliver complex requirements to accomplish business goals. Ensure that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements. Ensure solutions are well designed with maintainability, ease of integration, and testing built in from the outset. Code solutions and unit tests to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements. Design, develop, and modify architecture components, application interfaces, and solution enablers while ensuring principal architecture integrity is maintained. Mentor other software engineers and coach the team on Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI-CD) practices and automating tool stack. Execute story refinement, definition of requirements, and estimating work necessary to realize a story through the delivery lifecycle. Perform spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas. Automate manual release activities. Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites (integration, regression, performance). Solutions to enterprise initiatives that cut across trading desks. Contribute and own business APIs that provide standardized solutions across trading desks. Cross-asset solutions for deal capture, pricing, position keeping, and risk requirements. Required Skills: 3+ years of Quartz development experience. Exposure to the QFS is a plus. Substantial programming experience. Exceptional knowledge of computer science data structures. Application Coding/Application Design/Application Development (PYTHON/C++/SQL). Desired Skills: An interest in capital markets. The desire to work in a test-driven software development environment that relies on iterative feedback. 40 Pay Transparency details: Pay range: $100,700.00 - $180,000.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education, and skill set. Discretionary incentive eligible. This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan.
