Job Description
The HR Assistant/Receptionist is the first point of contact for visitors, employees, and external stakeholders while providing essential administrative support to the Human Resources department. This role is crucial in ensuring a positive and efficient experience for all.
Responsibilities
· Assist in job posting on job boards and company websites.
· Screen resumes and applications and schedule interviews.
· Coordinate interview logistics and communicate with candidates.
· Prepare and distribute new hire paperwork and ensure completion.
· Assist with new employee orientation and training programs.
· Assist employees with benefit enrollment and changes.
· Act as a point of contact for benefits-related inquiries.
· Support the annual benefits open enrollment process.
· Assist with payroll processing, including data entry and timekeeping.
· Generate HR reports and maintain HR metrics.
· Translate all documents required for any department.
· Assist with the President/ CEO agenda.
· Assist with the DOJO ( Onboarding documents )
· Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
· Bilingual (English- Spanish)
· Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
· Previous experience in HR or administrative support is a plus.
· Knowledge of HR principles, practices, and regulations.
· Proficiency in MS Office Suite and HRIS (Human Resources Information System) software.
· Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
· Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
· Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to tasks.
· Team player with a willingness to assist in various HR functions.
· Excellent multitasking skills to handle front desk and HR responsibilities simultaneously.
