Key Responsibilities: Ability to create and interpret technical drawings, including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) Support customers’ design requirements from concept through final design review Develop and maintain technical drawings and design documents for various products Evaluate materials and design elements to ensure adherence to specifications Optimize design processes and improve production efficiency and product performance Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are manufacturable and cost-effective Contribute to the research, design, and selection of tooling, fixturing, and gauging to be used in the manufacturing process Oversee equipment designs, modifications, upgrades, and automation Strong understanding of material properties and manufacturing processes Knowledge of manufacturing processes including CNC Machining, Non-Destructive Testing (Magnetic Particle, Pressure Testing, Dye Penetrant) and Mechanical Testing (Tensile, Hardness, Grain Size) Knowledge of design principles for various manufacturing techniques such as CNC machining and 3D printing Experience working in an ISO/AS9100 facility and conducting quality audits Qualifications: SolidWorks GD&T 6 years Aerospace and experience with Metals Why Join Us?
