Job Title: Estimator Location: Miami-Fort Lauderdale Area Salary: $110,000 - $160,000 per year Company Overview: Our client, a highly regarded construction firm based in the Miami-Fort Lauderdale area, specializes in large-scale projects including multi-family, mixed-use commercial, hotels, and condominiums. They are renowned for delivering high-quality, innovative construction solutions and are seeking an experienced Estimator to join their dynamic team. Position Overview: As the Estimator , you will play a crucial role in overseeing all estimating functions for projects across multiple sectors including multi-family residential, commercial mixed-use, and hospitality developments. You will be responsible for providing accurate cost estimates, managing bids, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget. This is a leadership role requiring expertise in pre-construction, team collaboration, and client relationships. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the estimating department, ensuring all project estimates are accurate and submitted on time. Review and analyze construction plans and specifications to prepare detailed cost estimates. Prepare comprehensive bid proposals, working closely with project managers, architects, and subcontractors. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure cost-effective project planning and execution. Develop and maintain relationships with clients, architects, and vendors to support business development efforts. Manage the estimating process from pre-construction through to project award, ensuring consistency and accuracy. Provide leadership and mentoring to junior estimators and team members. Qualifications: Minimum 7-10 years of experience in construction estimating, with a focus on multi-family, mixed-use commercial, or hospitality projects. Proven track record of leading estimating teams and managing large, complex projects. Strong knowledge of estimating software and tools, as well as construction industry standards and best practices. Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred. Compensation & Benefits: Competitive salary range: $110,000 - $160,000, depending on experience.
