Senior Human Resources Generalist

Under the direction and supervision of the HR Director, the Sr. HR Generalist works independently and performs a full array of highly skilled, complex, technical, and professional Human Resources functions. The position coordinates, plans, schedules, conducts, develops, and implements a variety of work associated with the major HR functions including employee recruitment; performance management; compensation, benefits, human resources information management; reporting and employee records management, in addition to the functions of equal employment opportunity and labor relations. Duties and Responsibilities: Oversee the day-to-day HR operations, including but not limited to employee onboarding, offboarding, record keeping, benefits administration, employee relations, etc. Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment. Maintain HR Data Base & personnel files and employment-related contracts, work closely with HQ HR team to submit various reports as per request Maintain and administer the Company’s Compensation and Benefits program, and handle company payroll. Drive the performance management and 90-day review process by assisting managers with performance evaluations, and providing guidance on goal setting, performance improvement plans, and recognition programs. Assess training needs, design and deliver training programs, and facilitate employee development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge across the organization. Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies, and actively contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures. Perform audit and compliance reporting. Generate HR metrics, analyze trends, and provide insights to management to support data-driven decision-making. Serve as a trusted advisor, provide guidance, and manage employee relations matters, and retention issues, including conflict resolution, investigations, and disciplinary actions. Other tasks assigned by superior. Performs other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Bachelor’s degree in an HR-related field. Minimum 5 years progressive HR experience required, with Payroll and Employee Relations focus preferred. Previous experience in a wholesale & retailer setting preferred. In-depth knowledge and understanding of HR best practices and labor laws. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proven ability to build strong relationships with employees, management, and external stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficient in ADP systems and other HR-related software applications.
