Position Summary
The Part-Time Receptionist serves as the welcoming face and first point of contact for residents, visitors, and team members. This role is essential in supporting a warm, hospitable environment while ensuring smooth communication and administrative support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Service & Hospitality

    • Greet and assist residents, families, and visitors with warmth and professionalism.
    • Demonstrate an understanding of The Argyle’s mission by providing exceptional, personalized service to everyone entering the community.
    • Act as a resource for residents and visitors, addressing questions, providing directions, or resolving concerns promptly and courteously.
  • Administrative Support

    • Answer and direct phone calls in a polite and efficient manner.
    • Monitor and manage visitor logs, ensuring the safety and security of residents and staff.
    • Maintain the reception area in a clean and organized manner.
    • Assist with scheduling, basic data entry, and distributing mail as needed.
  • Safety & Communication

    • Monitor community access and assist with maintaining a secure environment.
    • Act as a liaison between residents and staff for non-emergency concerns or inquiries.
    • Respond to emergency situations appropriately by contacting the necessary personnel or services.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous receptionist, front desk, or customer service experience preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a positive and professional demeanor.
  • Ability to multitask and remain organized in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficient in basic computer skills, including email and Microsoft Office applications.
