Position Description

We are seeking an individual with a minimum of five (5) + years of NetSuite experience to manage, customize, and support our NetSuite ERP system. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of NetSuite administration as well as excellent general business/finance knowledge and will work closely with our Finance and Accounting teams to streamline processes, improve system efficiency, and support business growth. This position will be required to perform the role of a technical/functional resource to understand business processes and make/implement recommendations and improvements in accordance with NetSuite best practices.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the day-to-day management of a company's NetSuite account to help the business achieve its goals. A strong background in coding and accounting would be helpful.

System configuration

: Configuring and maintaining the NetSuite software, including integrating it with other platform

Work with internal teams and third-party vendors to integrate and manage integrations between third-party external applications and NetSuite.

Ensure integration teams and third-party vendors’ integrations are designed and function within NetSuite governor limits and restrictions to ensure business continuity.

User support

: Providing training and support to end users, and being the point of contact for NetSuite Support

Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.

Manage daily operations and maintenance of the NetSuite platform.

Ensure system compliance with company policies and procedures.

Provide technical support to NetSuite end users across all departments.

Data management

: Ensuring the quality of account data, performing data audits, and resolving data integrity issues

Oversee data integrity by implementing regular data audits and validations.

Manage mass data imports, exports, and data cleansing activities.

Support external audit and compliance activities as required.

Customization

: Planning, reviewing, and customizing NetSuite to meet user needs

Manage user roles, permissions, and access controls.

Configure and enhance NetSuite modules to align with changes in business processes.

Develop and maintain customizations using SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, and SuiteBuilder.

Create and manage custom fields, records, forms, workflows, and dashboards.

Security

: Monitoring security and ensuring user, account, and system security

Reporting

: Creating dashboards and reports, and helping with data extraction

Develop and maintain saved searches, reports, and KPIs.

Assist in financial reporting and analysis as needed.

Customize existing reports, KPIs and dashboards.

System optimization

: Automating routine processes and streamlining processes to improve user efficiency

Over time, develop a deep understanding of internal processes and make recommendations to optimize utilization in accordance with NetSuite best practices.

New features

: Preparing for NetSuite upgrades and new releases, and helping users take advantage of new features

Provide regular, proactive updates to internal stakeholders as new releases become available; review release notes and deliver in an executive summary format, ensuring any impacts or improvements are highlighted

Travel Requirements

Travel up to 10%, including overnight travel

Qualifications

Education:

Degree in Programming or Accounting is a plus

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of experience with NetSuite.

NetSuiteAdministrator role a plus

Skills

Strong knowledge of NetSuite ERP modules, including Financials, AR/AP, and Order Management.

Experience with 3rd party financial systems such as Avalara AvaTax, Shopify, etc. is a plus.

Proficient in SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, SuiteTalk, and SuiteBuilder.

Experience with system integrations and data migration.

Solid understanding of business processes and accounting principles.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy, efficiency, confidentiality, and independence.

A team player with outstanding oral, written, organizational and analytical skills.

Quick learner and able to respond well to a fast paced, multi-task environment

Ability to work well with multiple teams while problem solving to meet the greater good for all stakeholder

Other Requirements:

NetSuite Administrator Certification is highly preferred.

Hours

Monday Friday: 8 am - 5 pm with occasional weekend and evening work required

Pay

An employee’s exact starting salary will be based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training and merit.
