Speech-Language Pathologist Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
to join our team. As an SLP, you will assess, diagnose, and treat individuals of all ages with speech, language, voice, and communication disorders. Your role will focus on helping patients improve their communication abilities and overcome challenges related to speech and language, ensuring they can engage fully in their daily lives.
Speech-Language Pathologist Requirements: Current state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology. ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status, or equivalent certification preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS)/CPR certification required. Speech-Language Pathologist Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders. Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and patient goals. Implement evidence-based therapy techniques to improve communication and swallowing abilities. Track and document patient progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care. Educate patients, families, and caregivers on strategies to improve communication skills.
