Position Summary:

At the Ellsworth Creamery, we're looking for a Social Media and Graphic Design Coordinator to help amplify our story, engage with our loyal customers, and attract new audiences.
As a cornerstone of the Midwest's dairy industry, we are known for our award-winning cheese and cheese curds and commitment to quality. This role offers the opportunity to shape our online presence, create eye-catching designs, and connect with new and existing cheese lovers across the nation. Key Responsibilities:
Social Media Management:
Develop and execute social media strategies across platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) to achieve brand objectives. Expand social media presence by launching new platforms (e.g., X, TikTok, [JL1] Pinterest) to achieve brand objectives. Create, schedule, and post engaging content, including graphics, videos, and engaging content. Write copy for social captions and text overlay that aligns with Ellsworth's message map, brand voice and social strategy. Execute paid social media campaigns as appropriate. Manage social media community management for the Creamery (monitor social media accounts, respond to comments/messages, and foster community engagement). Track and analyze performance metrics to optimize content and inform strategy. Stay up to date on platform trends, algorithm changes, and best practices to keep the brand competitive. Graphic Design:
Design high-quality graphics and lightweight motion GIFs for use on social media, websites, email campaigns, and print materials (e.g., flyers, banners, packaging). Maintain and enforce brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all visual assets. Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials for campaigns, events, and product launches. Edit and enhance photos and videos for marketing use. Content Strategy and Collaboration:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to brainstorm and develop content that aligns with business goals and brand voice. Work with external vendors, influencers, and partners to develop co-branded content. Assist in managing the content calendar to ensure timely delivery of assets. Support Marketing and Communications:
Draft monthly newsletters, internal communications and other Creamery communications as needed. Partner with marketing and PR agency to support execution of the creamery's marketing plan. Requirements
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. 2-5 years of experience in graphic design and/or social media management Experience in the food, retail, or consumer goods industry is a plus. Required Competencies:
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Canva. Familiarity with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or similar). Proficiency with social media platforms (Meta, X, etc.), analytics tools, and scheduling platforms (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Later). Basic knowledge of photography and video production is a plus. Key Competencies:
Strong aesthetic sense and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Creative problem-solving skills and adaptability. Team-oriented attitude with a proactive, self-starter mindset. Physical & Safety Requirements:
