Job Description
- Financial Reporting & Analysis:
- Develop key financial deliverables, including variance analyses, annual budgets, and interim forecasts.
- Provide clear, actionable insights to business partners to enhance decision-making and drive operational improvements.
- Collaboration with Leadership:
- Partner with executive teams to communicate the implications of current financial trends and identify opportunities for growth.
- Build and deliver compelling storylines for financial updates to stakeholders.
- Data Integration & Maintenance:
- Implement and manage data sources to ensure reporting accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintain robust reporting tools and processes to support financial operations.
- Market Research & M&A Analysis:
- Conduct due diligence and market research for potential mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic investments.
- Evaluate the financial performance of acquisitions and capital expenditures to identify key value drivers.
- Strategic Insight Development:
- Use holistic, forward-looking analysis to influence and support business decisions.
- Identify emerging risks and opportunities, offering practical solutions to mitigate or capitalize on them.
The Successful Applicant
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications (MBA, CFA) are a plus.
- Experience:
- 5+ years of financial analysis experience, preferably within financial services or consulting sectors.
- Demonstrated ability to handle forecasting, variance analysis, and strategic financial planning.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in financial reporting tools and systems, with advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with data management tools and financial modeling software is highly desirable.
