The Senior Financial Analyst will play a critical role in providing data-driven insights that inform investment decisions, support portfolio performance, and drive strategic growth for the firm's global operations. This position requires a deep understanding of real estate finance, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally with teams on a global scale. The ideal candidate will have experience in real estate or investment finance and demonstrate strong forecasting, modeling, and financial planning capabilities.
Job Description
- Develop and maintain complex financial models for property acquisitions, development projects, and portfolio management, incorporating key metrics such as IRR, NPV, and cash flow analysis.
- Lead the preparation and ongoing management of project budgets and forecasts, providing regular variance analysis to highlight key trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of real estate investment opportunities, preparing financial projections, assessing profitability, and supporting capital allocation decisions.
- Research market trends and perform benchmarking analysis to provide insights into competitive positioning, valuation, and potential growth areas.
- Prepare and present clear and concise financial reports, presentations, and dashboards for senior management and stakeholders to support informed decision-making.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within the real estate or investment industry, with a strong background in financial modeling and strategic analysis.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling and data visualization; experience with real estate software (e.g., Argus, Yardi, or MRI) is highly desirable.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data and present actionable insights.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders effectively.
