Responsibilities:
PeopleTec is currently seeking a Software Engineer to support our Redstone Arsenal customer. The candidate will support implementation and development of digital signal processing of Ultra-Wide Bandwidth software defined radio (SDR) systems utilizing open standards such as VITA 49.2 and SOSA and define guidance for future development and standardization. Responsibilities include: Oversee the Development and integration of digital signal processing algorithms across heterogeneous hardware platforms (CPUs, GPUs, DSPs, FPGAs, etc.) for SDR systems Generate software development roadmaps/strategies and cost estimates for RF intensive systems Test and evaluation engineering of RF systems Oversee and define requirements for software development activities associated with RF signal collection and analysis Evaluate emerging technologies and standards for use in SDR systems Countermeasures and vulnerability analysis for RF systems Qualifications: Required Skills/Experience: GPU/GPGPU programming experience or understanding (using OpenCL, CUDA, etc.) Experience integrating and troubleshooting complex hardware/software intensive systems Experience or knowledge of modeling and using modeling tools (using CAMEO) Experience developing technical reports and presentations Systems Engineering experience or knowledge Ability to work independently and effectively in a multi-disciplinary team environment Strong verbal and written communication skills Travel approximately 15% or less Must be a U.S. Citizen An active DoD
Secret
clearance is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active
Secret
clearance upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment. Education Requirements: Bachelor of Science and 6 years of relevant experience or a Masters of Science and 2 years of relevant experince is required. Experience CANNOT be substituted for education.
