Program Summary:
FIT serves infants, children and youth (ages 0-21) with a team approach to treatment planning allowing clinicians the flexibility to assess the level and type of services needed. As treatment needs vary over time, services are tailored to fit without interruption. Equally flexible is the location of service: home, school, River Oak clinical sites or community setting to best accommodate the family/care provider. A wide array of treatment interventions, to include multiple evidence-based programs, are used to include individual, family and group therapy.

Job Responsibilities:
- Build relationships based on trust with the goal of improving the overall functioning of clients and families. Utilize reflective listening and mirroring skills in the engagement of clients and families
- Comprehend principles of youth development and resilience; ability to identify client and family assets
- Ability to recognize behavior that may compromise safety; follow established protocol to minimize risk
- Understands responsibilities associated with child abuse reporting (i.e. timelines, notification of appropriate agencies, documentation)
- Demonstrate a thorough knowledge and understanding of specific program and position responsibilities; provides services in accordance with program and contract requirements.
- Understand resource opportunities within the community, and supports clients and families to utilize community resources
- Proficient with Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Maintain a variety of online recordkeeping and documentation processes and systems, ensuring all relevant confidentiality and privacy requirements are met
- Must have Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college with major course work in a behavioral science or a closely related field
- An Associate of arts degree in behavioral science and completion of behavioral theory courses and at least two years of relevant experience
- Experience in a direct client care residential, day treatment, foster care and/or community outreach program is highly desirable
- Must have excellent organizational, relationship, behavioral and communications skills, sensitivity to differences in culture, and knowledge of child development
- Must have the ability to meet the professional standards and requirements for assigned duties and responsibilities
