We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented GIS Technician to join our dynamic team sitting hybrid in Atlanta (onsite 3x a week). The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and play a critical role in supporting projects through data migration, mapping, and validation. This position requires the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver accurate and high-quality results. Candidate pay rate is $30-$35/hr depending on level of experience. Utilize Telenium and CircuitVision software to create, edit, and maintain spatial data layers. Import, transform, and integrate geographic data from various sources to support project objectives. Ensure 100% accuracy in GIS deliverables and consistently meet weekly SLA requirements. Collaborate with the team lead to ensure GIS needs are addressed within established project timelines. Integrate data from relational databases, S3, files, and APIs into GIS applications. Assist in designing and implementing CAD drawings for GIS-related projects. Maintain comprehensive documentation of GIS processes, methodologies, and best practices using SharePoint. Provide technical support for GIS-related inquiries and troubleshooting.

Required Skills & Experience

Proficiency in Telenium and CircuitVision software and related GIS tools. Strong understanding of relational databases and experience with data management and integration. Experience in Electric Utility Network Management is highly preferred. Familiarity with SAP, Jira, or other ticketing systems is an advantage. Ability to analyze and transform spatial data to meet project requirements. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a collaborative mindset.
