Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Sourcing: Formulate and execute sourcing strategies to acquire steel materials at the best possible prices.
- Supplier Relations: Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliability and high performance.
- Contract Negotiation: Conduct negotiations for contracts, terms, and pricing to secure advantageous agreements.
- Market Analysis: Keep abreast of market trends, price changes, and supply chain dynamics to guide purchasing decisions.
- Inventory Control: Partner with the inventory team to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize surplus inventory.
- Cost Optimization: Discover and implement cost-saving measures without sacrificing quality.
- Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities adhere to industry standards and company policies.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various departments to support production goals and enhance procurement processes.
- Experience: At least 7 years of procurement experience in the steel industry.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
