Responsibilities
  • Drive premium growth and profitability for assigned states
  • Develop short and long-term rate change/project roadmaps for each product
  • Stay updated on industry developments, competitor actions, and regulatory environments
  • Lead projects aimed at enhancing customer experience and profit improvement
  • Build strong working relationships with Actuarial, Underwriting, Claims, Contact Center, BP&A (Finance), Marketing, and Business Process (BPU)
  • Lead a team of analysts to execute the strategic product/pricing plan
  • Prepare and present updates to the Executive Leadership Team (ELT)
  • Collaborate with BP&A to develop the annual financial plan and forecasts
Qualifications
  • Minimum 4-year college degree or equivalent in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial, Data Analytics, Economics, Finance, or a related quantitative field
  • 35 years of experience in actuarial or insurance product analytics, including 1 to 2 years as an entry-level state manager
  • Strong data analytics skills with a natural curiosity for problem-solving
  • Advanced Excel and database skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
Education Requirements
  • Minimum 4-year college degree in a quantitative field preferred
Education Requirements Credential Category

Experience Requirements
  • At least 35 years of relevant work experience in a related role
