Description
Our Workers Compensation Analyst will be responsible for the Workers' Compensation benefits for injured employees. In partnership with the unit supervisor, you will manage an assigned caseload of routine to moderately complex claims from the investigation of the claim through resolution; this includes making decisions about liability/compensability, evaluating losses, and negotiating settlements. In collaboration with the Manager-LOA/WDCM, you will effectively deliver UCLA Health's Disability Management program by providing direction and expertise in complying with state and federal and statutory law, facilitating the interactive process.
Annual Salary: $83,800 to $179,400 Annually
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business, social sciences, or related field preferred
3-5 years of workers' compensation experience, case law, directives, policies, and legislation;Workers' Compensation Claims Certification
Strong interpersonal, collaborative, and organizational skills;
Proven relationship management skills required to effectively partner with staff at all levels of the organization
Strong interpersonal, collaborative, and organizational skills;
Ability to ask thoughtful questions to understand past precedents and practices;
