Scheduler

for a federal construction project related to complex rail, transit, and other transportation projects in NY & NJ.

The ideal candidate has at least

10 years

of full-time experience in the scheduling of large-scale construction projects, as well as a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Construction, Engineering, Business Management, or related field.

If selected, candidates will need to provide digital proof of licensure and certification for all U.S.-based accolades, including academic degree, before time of interview. This position will be full-time, Hybrid. Candidates are expected to live in or near the New York metropolitan area.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

include, but are not limited to, the following: Experience in the developing of logical sequencing of the work, contract durations and phasing. Ability to work closely with clients, laborers, and project managers to successfully schedule and coordinate all phases of the construction process. Evaluate and improve scheduling processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy. This may include developing procedures, instructions, and/or guidelines that facilitate the two-way flow of cost and schedule information. Manage and ensure that the Baseline Change management process is followed. Ability and the understanding to fully utilize the computer program Primavera/Expedition. Prepare monthly schedule updates, narratives, and reports for management and client. Experience in the review and analysis of claims, time extensions, and impact on costs. Perform related tasks. QUALIFICATIONS

include, but are not limited to, the following: Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field. A combination of education and experience will be considered. At least 10-12 years’ experience

in construction project scheduling and project controls, at least five (5) of which are on highly complex or large (>$500 million) projects, with 5-8 years of direct hands-on experience as a scheduler, specifically using Primavera scheduling software. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred. Proven experience in analyzing schedule claims. Strong computer skills (MS Office, MS Project, Adobe Acrobat) Fluent in English with strong verbal/written communication skills
