Summary
The Data Conversion Lead is responsible for overseeing the migration and conversion of HR data from legacy systems to new platforms, ensuring accuracy, consistency and completeness throughout the process. This role involves working closely with HR, IT and project management resources, as well as external implementation partners to plan, execute and validate data conversion exercises. This role will be responsible for data conversion strategy planning and execution for all HR lifecycle data. The Data Conversion Lead will ensure that all data is mapped, cleansed and validated to meet the organization's requirements while migrating risks and minimizing downtime during the transition. Duties and Responsibilities
Architect the data conversion process
Identify and help write necessary scripts to extract data from PeopleSoft Lead efforts around data cleansing and cleanup efforts across different areas Develop and lead data validation practices Understand Data Structures in other technologies (e.g., snowflake) to help to build out data warehouse Collaborate with HR and Project team resources to define, execute and migrate all data Salaries vary by location and are based on numerous factors, including, but not limited to, the relevant market, skills, experience, and education of the selected candidate. If an estimated salary range for this role is available, it will be provided in our Target Salary Range section. Our compensation package also includes bonus eligibility and a comprehensive benefits program. Benefits information can be found here. Target Salary Range
$140,000 - $174,000 if located in Illinois

Education and/or Experience: Required: A minimum of 12 years of experience in IT/Data management with focused work on HR systems and data migration projects Data Analysis and Profiling PeopleSoft Data Structures knowledge Workday Object Oriented structure and HCM data loads Ability to lead data cleanup efforts to reduce data errors Ability to write SQR Other coding languages desired; Java, JavaScript, Python Understanding of data cleansing and transformation Understanding data validation and lead validation efforts Preferred: Peoplesoft to Workday Data conversation demonstrated experience Other Skills and Abilities: The following will also be required of the successful candidate: Strong organizational skills Strong attention to detail Good judgment Strong interpersonal communication skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Able to work harmoniously and effectively with others Able to preserve confidentiality and exercise discretion Able to work under pressure Able to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines and priorities Sidley Austin LLP is an Equal Opportunity Employer
