What's the Job:
This position serves as lead worker to help support the KDOT Data Warehouse (OW) and Business Intelligence (Bl) services for the agency. The OW provides the agency with a single source for information which has been extracted from various source systems, transformed and integrated into one environment to be used for reporting and analytical processing.
The incumbent of this position will design, develop, test, debug and maintain tables, views, ETL scripts, SSIS packages, universes, and reports (Crystal and Webi). This position will also serve as system administrator for the Reports Portal and assist in the research of new technology that may be of benefit to KDOT.
What's Needed?
At least 2+ years of experience as a SQL developer or similar role
Knowledge of Data Warehouse concepts such as ETL processing, data modeling, and integrations
Experience with Business Objects, Webi, Crystal Reports and Power BI
Experience with Report Design
Experience with Visual Studio, GIT, and SSIS package creation
Experience with Oracle and SQL Server
Excellent oral and written communication skills;
Strong organizational skills;
Ability to take initiative on evaluating, improving and implementing IT solutions
