Ready to Revolutionize Matchmaking with AI? Join our tight-knit engineering team where you'll craft AI-powered experiences that create genuine human connections. We're not another dating app – we're a proven matchmaking platform combining cutting-edge tech with human insight, backed by real success stories.

You'll develop innovative AI solutions that redefine relationship-finding: from intelligent match recommendations to automated high-end experiences. Work with tools like LLMs, vector databases, and embeddings while leveraging our unique dataset of successful matches.

Perfect for a seasoned full-stack engineer who wants direct impact, minimal bureaucracy, and the chance to solve meaningful human problems with emerging AI technologies.

Potential projects include:

  1. Create new AI-powered user experiences such as facial attractiveness quizzes, or a delightful AI interviewer that lets users share who they really are.
  2. Build an automated date planning system to offer a high-end service at a low operational cost.
  3. Make our match recommendation engine smarter by integrating more user data, structured or unstructured, building upon priceless unique-in-the-industry historical data.
  4. Migrate some manual team processes to delightful automated user experiences.

Responsibilities:

  1. Engineer tech innovations to scale critical operations workflows and customer experiences that delight.
  2. Collaborate with other developers to architect and create simple and flexible solutions.
  3. Plan and lead implementation for new features making critical decisions on data modeling, data persistence, security, analytics, to provide a great customer experience.
  4. Implement strong instrumentation to provide critical customer and business intelligence.

Qualifications:

  1. B.S. in Computer Science or other engineering fields.
  2. 6+ years in developing web services and/or mobile apps.
  3. Experienced in shipping high quality, high impact solutions.
  4. Proficient coding in Javascript/Typescript, familiar with Python. Ideal if you know React Native.
  5. Proficient with designing schema and queries for MySQL, PostgreSQL, and/or equivalent.
  6. Familiar with modern front-end/back-end design paradigms.
  7. Experience with Vector databases, embeddings, RAG, LLMs, ideally for production-grade products.
  8. Experience designing and building services using popular frameworks such as NextJS, NestJS, and/or equivalent.
  9. Experience with GraphQL, Terraform, AWS services, Kubernetes, are a plus.
  10. Effective communicator and team player.
  11. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  12. Hungry to learn.

Compensation: $180k – $220k base + equity + benefits
