Job Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the day-to-day accounting functions, including consolidated financial reporting, accounts payable and ownership of the General Ledger accounts.
2. Oversee all monthly closes, with a goal of shortening the close cycle.
3. Prepare/develop balance sheet and P&L account analysis & monthly reconciliations.
4. Supervise the AP Accounting Manager ensuring efficient operation of the Accounts Payable function.
5. Implement new accounting processes.
6. Review all inventory reports (costing, changes in inventory).
7. Manage quarterly inventory counts.
8. Manage the annual financial statement audit.
9. Update and maintain internal accounting controls.
10. Supervise the payroll manager and provide the required review of all payroll batches prepared.
11. Assist with FP&A: budgeting, forecasting and development of KPIs.

Experience:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or finance.
2. Minimum seven years of progressive experience in operational accounting and finance.
3. NetSuite knowledge a plus.
4. At least three years of experience in managing the monthly close process.
5. Advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
6. Experience leading accounting teams.
7. CPA License preferred.
