We are seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting the Restaurant Manager in daily activities. This position is perfect for individuals who are passionate about the food industry and have a strong background in restaurant management.

Responsibilities

1. Assist in overseeing daily operations especially the Back of House of the restaurant to ensure efficiency and high standards of service.
2. Manage inventory control processes, including ordering and stock management to minimize waste and ensure availability.
3. Support budgeting efforts by monitoring expenses and assisting in financial planning.
4. Train, supervise, and mentor staff, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth.
5. Handle customer inquiries and complaints effectively to maintain high levels of satisfaction.
6. Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely food preparation and quality standards are met.
7. Assist in planning and executing catering events as needed, ensuring all details are managed smoothly.
8. Utilize Aloha POS system for order processing, payments, and reporting.
9. May execute role of Line Cook if needed.

Skills

1. Proven experience in a leadership role within the food industry, preferably in casual dining settings.
2. Strong knowledge of inventory control practices and food management principles.
3. Familiarity with bartending practices is a plus.
4. Excellent budgeting skills with an eye for detail in financial reporting.
5. Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
6. Strong communication skills to interact with staff and customers professionally.
7. Experience in hotel or catering environments is desirable but not mandatory.
