The Production Manager position is a key role, directly reporting to the Plant Manager (or General Manager), and is integral to the operations of our new manufacturing facility. As a subsidiary of Recodeal Interconnect Suzhou Co., Ltd. (a publicly listed company in China, stock code: 688800), we specialize in the production of steel pipes for shipment within the U.S. market. This challenging role offers opportunities for growth and impact in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead and motivate production team including receiving and shipping to meet safety, quality, and production goals
2. Optimize operations through continuous improvement projects
3. Ensure regulatory compliance and permit adherence
4. Collaborate with engineering, quality and SCM on operational issues
5. Oversee preventive maintenance and emergency work
6. Implement and enforce safety and risk management programs
7. Manage staffing, training, and personnel issues
8. Develop a culture of Built-in Quality and strong customer relationships
9. Conduct monthly safety meetings and participate in audits
10. Review Key Business Indicators and manage raw material/WIP/FGs transactions
11. Lead Kaizen events and identify cost reduction opportunities

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or Business (highly desirable)
2. Minimum 3 years experience leading 20+ staff in manufacturing/services environment
3. Knowledge of manufacturing management disciplines
4. Proficiency in MS Office Suite
5. Awareness of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and/or Kaizen

Desired Skills:

1. ISO 9001 QMS knowledge
2. Experience with tube manufacturing, mechanical, and laser drill processes
3. Bilingual English/Spanish
