Attorney Recruiting & Development Senior Coordinator/Specialist

The Attorney Recruiting and Development Senior Coordinator/Specialist will support various aspects of Cox Castle’s attorney recruiting, hiring, and professional development initiatives for summer associates and associates. The specialist will report to the Director of Recruiting and Professional Development and work closely with the Attorney Recruiting Assistant as well as members of the firm’s Recruiting, Skills Development, and DEI Committees. This position offers significant exposure to professionals throughout the firm and provides an excellent opportunity for advancement. Based in the Los Angeles office, the specialist will assist Cox Castle’s three offices (Los Angeles, Orange County, and San Francisco).

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  1. Foster positive relationships with law school career services professionals and attorney recruiters.
  2. Post job openings and source law student and associate candidates.
  3. Review candidate submissions and circulate potential candidates to department leaders.
  4. Schedule and coordinate candidate interviews.
  5. Coordinate the planning and execution of the summer associate program, including onboarding, training, and social events. (A typical summer class ranges from three to four students.)
  6. Coordinating attorney professional development programs and training.

Qualifications:

  1. A minimum of four (4) years of prior law firm experience in legal personnel, legal recruiting, professional development, or similar function.
  2. Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office Suite.
  3. Ability to work well with all levels of firm personnel, establish effective working relationships throughout the firm and react to challenging situations appropriately.
  4. Ability to respect, protect, and maintain confidential and sensitive information.
  5. Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively.
  6. Excellent organization and communications skills, both oral and written.
  7. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  8. Exceptional attention to detail.
  9. Exceptional client service, both internal and external.
  10. Flexibility to work additional hours, as necessary.
  11. Experience with viDesktop is a plus.

The pay range for this role is $85,000 to $100,000 depending on experience. Full-time employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, health insurance with an optional HSA, dental insurance, vision care, life insurance, Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, 401K, vacation, sick time, and an employee assistance program.
