General Summary of Position

Department: Hematology- Oncology

Status: Full Time, 40 hours per week

Schedule: 8:30am - 5:00pm; Monday - Friday/No Holidays

The position performs diversified administrative duties related to department Management team and/or physicians. Primary Duties:

  1. Support department goals and objectives while adhering to policies, procedures, and safety standards.
  2. Perform clerical tasks including mail distribution, managing schedules, maintaining vacation logs, and supporting management and providers.
  3. Assist with licensing and credentialing processes and prepare presentations and related documents.
  4. Answer calls, take messages, and provide routine information.
  5. Order and maintain office supplies and manage equipment maintenance.
  6. Coordinate meetings, arrange food, WebEx, and prepare agendas and minutes.
  7. Provide data entry, transcription, and manage filing systems.
  8. Assist with special projects, including compiling financial/statistical data.
  9. Schedule appointments and travel arrangements for supervisors.
  10. Draft documents including memos, policies, committee minutes, and letters.
  11. Provide backup support to other office staff as needed.
  12. Participate in meetings, committees, and quality improvement teams.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. High School Diploma or GED.
  2. 2+ years clerical/office experience preferably in a healthcare setting supporting a leader/administrative function.

This position has a hiring range of $20.17 - $35.04.
