The School of Nursing and Health Studies Dean's Office has a great opportunity for a Sr Administrative Assistant to provide operational support to the administrative and the Office of Student Services.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Submitting business expense reimbursements on Workday.
  • Work as a liaison with central offices to finalize electronic submissions.
  • Prepares financial forms in Workday, POs, and work orders, check requisitions, supplier invoices, journals, and payroll accounting adjustments.
  • Prepare travel arrangements and reimbursements for the faculty at SONHS.
  • Provides clerical support to the SONHS administrative team.
  • Completes assignments requiring data collection and organization (may provide analysis).
  • Composes correspondence or selects standardized formats.
  • May maintain calendars, schedule meetings, and book conference rooms.
  • Assists with ongoing/new projects for the SONHS research administration team.
  • Serve as backup for administrative support for the Office of Student Services.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Workday experience preferred.

Knowledge of routine office practices and procedures.

Should be flexible with schedule; 8:30 am to 5:00 pm OR 11 am to 7 pm

Knowledge of simple data processing and transmission principles.

Ability to utilize computerized information systems.

Ability to read and decipher data on source documents to be entered.

Ability to enter and verify information with accuracy and a reasonable rate of speed.

Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.

Skill in data entry or typing

Education Requirements (Essential Requirements):

High school diploma or equivalent.

Work Experience Requirements (Essential Requirements):

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
