Job Title: Entry-Level Immigration Attorney

Duties:

• Provide clear explanations of immigration processes and legal concepts.
• Represent individuals in removal proceedings before Immigration Courts and the Board of Immigration Appeals.
• Manage a diverse caseload involving detained and non-detained clients.
• Conduct intake and provide legal counsel for individuals in detention centers.
• Prepare and review immigration applications, including family-based petitions and removal defense applications.
• Collaborate with law enforcement, prosecutorial offices, and community organizations to address immigration law changes.
• Develop legal strategies for court appearances, and prepare clients and witnesses for testimony.
• Draft and submit legal briefs for a variety of immigration-related cases.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in Immigration Law.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with legal teams and other associates.
• Ability to manage a caseload and push cases forward on time.
• Preferred bilingual fluency in English and Spanish.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
• Active license to practice law.

Skills:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent legal research and writing abilities.
• Familiarity with Family-Based Petitions, Humanitarian petitions, EOIR proceedings, and USCIS applications.
• Experience with legal case management software is an advantage.
