Job Title: Sterile Processing Technician Job Specialty: Surgical Services - Sterile Processing Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Shift, 5x8-Hour (22:00 - 06:30) Guaranteed Hours: [Information not provided] Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a Level I or II hospital License: Compact or appropriate state license in hand upon submission Certifications: CRCST or CSPDT required, AHA certifications required Must-Have: COVID-19 and Flu Vaccines (Medical/Religious Exemptions Only), Must be over 65 miles from the facility address Job Description: • Work during night shifts from 22:00 to 06:30, Monday to Friday. • Operate and manage sterilization equipment, including Sterilizer, Sterrad Machine, and Ultrasonic devices (CaviWave, Medisafe, Belimed). • Participate in backfilling duties for temporary staff absences, ensuring continuous operation. • Complete additional checklist requirements for submission before starting the assignment. • Hold AWHONN Intermediate certification for Labor & Delivery, CPI certification for relevant nursing roles, and meet all allied health licensure requirements within 72 hours of signing. • Provide two Manager/Supervisor references for clearance before the contract start. • Individuals who previously worked as permanent staff or contractors must complete a gap year before returning in a travel role. • Attend an 8-hour orientation session.
