We are seeking a full-time Internal Medicine Veterinary Technician to work alongside our board-certified internists, providing high-quality care to pets with complex medical conditions. Key Responsibilities:

Work independently under the guidance of the Internal Medicine specialist Triage all IMED appointments Generate and review estimates with clients Know what is entailed in all IMED procedures and how to set up for them Proficiency in technical skills including venipuncture, catheter placement, blood pressure measurement, etc. Induce and monitor anesthesia Manage anesthetic emergencies during procedures Cross-train and fill in for client coordinator’s role Field phone calls from clients, schedule IMED appointments, and refill prescriptions Communicate with clients, Patient Care technicians, and staff doctors regarding in-house patients Generate treatment sheets for in-hospital patients following the orders of the Internal Medicine Specialist Maintain the sanitation and stocking of the IMED suite Maintain an appropriate inventory of the IMED suite Proper routine care and maintenance of all IMED equipment Attend all IMED department meetings Follow all policies and procedures as outlined in the FHA Employment Manual. Other duties as assigned Qualifications:

Veterinary Technician certification/credentialing (CVT, LVT, RVT, VTS) preferred. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a veterinary setting, preferably in internal medicine. Strong knowledge of veterinary medicine, diagnostics, and treatments. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment. Compassionate and caring attitude towards animals and their owners. Proficiency with veterinary software and technology. Benefits:
