Friendship Hospital For Animals
is looking for a Facilities Coordinator to join our team. The Facilities Coordinator oversees all aspects of building functions and guarantees the safety and functionality of all facilities. Duties include running routine safety inspections, corresponding with contractors, planning maintenance work and maintaining records. Our ideal candidate is well-versed in facilities oversight processes and is competent in all areas of facility maintenance.

Ensure all building facilities adhere to proper safety standards and cleaning procedures Maintain equipment and building provisions to meet health and safety requirements Work with management to oversee and plan building installments and refurbishments Coordinate with management to work with cleaning company and provide guidance on responsibilities and special projects Keep building and all facilities up to code and accurately follow maintenance protocols Expected to be on call for emergent maintenance issues such as HVAC Perform routine maintenance inspections Monitor interior and exterior areas of building for cleanliness and general conservation Provide repair solutions for medical equipment including in-house, outsourced and vendor provided Prepare and implement projects as directed Comply with all health and safety policies and procedures Support maintenance and installment work as needed What you have (Qualifications):
Mechanical and plumbing skills Knowledge of HVAC and other building systems Ability to lift heavy objects and do other labor-intensive tasks Excellent time management and multitasking skills Proactive, able to solve problems and strong attention to detail Ability to form strong relationships with vendors and repair representatives Willingness to learn additional skills as needed Must be comfortable working around animals in a medical setting Previous experience in a veterinary facility not required but preferred
$25 - $30 an hour compensation is based on skills and experience.
