Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Attorney with a strong background in personal injury and litigation to join our dynamic legal team. This role involves handling all phases of personal injury cases, including pre-litigation, litigation, trial preparation, and resolution. The ideal candidate is a skilled negotiator, strategic thinker, and advocate who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Case Management: Manage a caseload of personal injury matters from intake through resolution, including pre-litigation, mediation, and trial. Conduct detailed case evaluations, develop legal strategies, and advise clients on their rights and options. Litigation: Prepare and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery. Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials. Draft and argue motions, including those for summary judgment, dismissal, and discovery disputes. Client Relations: Maintain consistent communication with clients to provide updates, answer questions, and guide them through the legal process. Build strong client relationships through compassionate and professional representation. Negotiation & Settlement: Negotiate with insurance adjusters, opposing counsel, and other parties to secure favorable settlements for clients. Prepare demand packages and settlement agreements in alignment with client goals. Collaboration & Supervision: Work closely with paralegals, legal assistants, and other support staff to ensure case progression. Mentor and provide guidance to junior attorneys and legal team members as needed. Qualifications: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Active and in good standing with the Florida Bar Association. Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in personal injury litigation, including trial experience. Strong knowledge of state and federal personal injury laws and court procedures. Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities. Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously.
