We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Tax Manager - Private Client Services in Midland, Texas. This role falls within a CPA firm, where you'll be handling tasks related to accounting functions, compliance, auditing, and more. The position requires a unique blend of skills and experience, specifically in handling financial services for high-net-worth individuals and closely-held businesses.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage the processing of customer credit applications to ensure accuracy and efficiency
• Maintain and update customer credit records, ensuring all data is accurate and up-to-date
• Handle inquiries from customers, providing timely and accurate responses
• Monitor customer accounts closely, taking appropriate actions when necessary
• Utilize accounting software systems effectively for various tasks and operations
• Implement and manage ADP - Financial Services and CaseWare
• Use CCH ProSystem Fx and CCH Sales Tax to manage client tax matters
• Oversee annual income tax provision activities
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
• Assist in entity formation processes
• Utilize your CPA or IRS Enrolled Agent skills to manage and resolve complex tax-related issues.• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a CPA firm or similar setting
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is preferred
• Familiarity with CaseWare is required
• Proficiency in using CCH ProSystem Fx and CCH Sales Tax software
• Solid understanding of various Accounting Functions
• Experience in preparing Annual Income Tax Provision
• Strong skills in Auditing procedures and practices
• Demonstrated experience in Compliance work
• Knowledge of Entity Formation procedures and regulations
• Must possess a CPA certification
• IRS Enrolled Agent certification is a plus
