Qualifications:Minimum of 3+ years of experience as an Accounts Payable SpecialistProficiency in Microsoft Excel and WordStrong research and reconciliation skillsSolid understanding of general ledger accountingResponsibilities:The Accounts Payable Specialist will manage the complete Accounts Payable cycle, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in processing invoices and maintaining vendor relationshipsThis role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to reconcile accounts while supporting the Accounts Receivable Specialist as neededHandle the complete Accounts Payable cycleOnboard new vendors and record essential informationReview all invoices against purchase orders and receivers (3-way and 2-way match)Code invoices according to the chart of accountsManage company credit cardsEnter all invoices into the accounting softwareHandle expense reports, including downloading statements and reviewing submitted reports for accuracyPrint checks, obtain signatures, and maintain A/P internal controlsReconcile Accounts Payable with the general ledger and maintain intercompany reconciliationsRecord ACH and check positive pay in bank portalsBuild and maintain relationships with vendors and internal customersCommunicate with vendors to resolve billing disputes or inaccuraciesAssist with state sales tax filingsParticipate in special projects as neededInterested in hearing more?
