Overview:
The Accounting Manager will lead the Company's accounting team and ensure the accuracy of financial reporting. This role involves managing daily accounting activities, overseeing the month-end and year-end close processes, supervising a team, and ensuring compliance with GAAP. Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll, fixed assets and other areas of accounting.
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Ensures the integrity of accounting information by reconciling accounts and recording transactions, in accordance with GAAP, from source records.
- Supervise the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring all entries are posted, reconciliations are completed, and deadlines are met.
- Review and approve journal entries and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA required.
- 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite, or similar ERP systems).
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups, etc.).
